Hi
The digital granny page no longer works. We have been trying to find out why.
Bev
Hi, Bev - The domain name digitalgranny.com is registered to Chad Douglas at chad@linuxpupil.com. And, if you go to http://linuxpupil.com, there is a message signed "Digital Granny"" indicating that there are server issues.
Note, however, that http://www.linuxpupil.com/ *DOES NOT* display the message signed "Digital Granny".
The DigitalGranny folks are passing the baton to me. I will let you know when it's back up. It will be a dot net instead of a dot com.

I made a crochet needle holder a few years ago. I lost the pattern and i would like to make another one. Could you help me.
Hi, Sandra - I don't have a pattern for a crochet needle holder, but you may find someone who has at the Crochetville website: http://www.crochetville.org/ .
I miss the Digital Virtual Granny Site too....Is there a time frame in mind as to when this site might be back on the Internet....Very wonderful squares to look at & also so you could rearrange them to see what they would look finished...
I hope's back up really soon..
Hugs,
Bobbie Lynn
Digital granny was a great place. Sure do hope the site is back up and running soon .
Carol
Hi, Bobbie Lyn - I'm not in charge of or working on the project so I don't know when it will be back online.
Hi, Carol - I'm not in charge of or working on the project so I don't know when it will be back online. But, yes, it is missed!
Hi,
I sure do miss Digital Granny's Virtual Afghan. I made a lot of bedspreads from those squares. It's been a long time now...when will it be online again???
Hi Doncntry - I am not involved with the Digital Granny Virtual Afghan website so I do not know when it will be back online.
I am Chad Douglas, the origial designer/owner of the Virtual Afghan. We passed the baton on a while back because we didn't have the time or resources to continue maintaining the database of afghan squares. The site was something we developed and offered free to the public, and the expense of the webhosting and development time for myself and admin time for Linda (my wife) was just too much.
I've considered putting it back up (I still have the files) since nothing has been done since we passed it on.
Hi,,any new information when digital granny will be back up and running. Lots of people are looking for it.
Thanks,
sunnywolfgar- Terry Devine, a crochetier 40 years& counting.
Hi, sure would love the virtual granny to be back online. So very many of us miss it bunches, please get it back online. Thanks so much, Vicki
Do you think we will ever get this back. It has been yrs now....
Hi, Brendi - I'm not involved with the Digital Granny website. Since it's been so long now, I doubt it will be back.
Please, PLEASE, put the "Digital Granny's Virtual Afghan" site back up! There are no granny squares sites to compare, and it was great having all those squares on one single site. Thank you.
If you have all the old files, how about this: Let someone put them all up on , say, a MySpace page for everyone to have access? New times, new venues!
