My granddaughter wants to make cancer hats for kids for a Girl Scout sewing badge. Do you know where we can get a pattern? This is for sewing, not crochet or knitting.

Thank you. Mary

Hi, Mary - I don't know any specific patterns, but you can try searching Google for:
fabric cancer hat pattern
sew cancer hat pattern
fabric chemo hat pattern
sew chemo hat pattern

My troop is doing the same thing, so i have searched for easy to sew hats. Here are two sites I found. The first one is probably the easiest, and the second one has multiple styles to choose from, including one easy hat.

Congratulations to all of you for helping out with cancer patients. And congratulations too for raising socially-conscious daughter/grand daughters. You are all inspiring.

About Cheryl

Enjoys crocheting, gardening, cats, NASCAR (especially Tony Stewart and Kyle Busch!), reading, photography, snorkeling in Kailua-Kona with sea turtles, Sizzler's Mega Bacon Cheeseburgers, hot and iced decaf coffee, dark chocolate, color (yarn, fabric), playing around with web technologies - not necessarily in that order! Still very much a beginner with quilting, knitting, and sewing. Donates crocheted lap blankets.

List maker, detail-oriented, organized, leans heavily toward perfectionism. ISTJ. Libra.
