Flattering Jacket (sweater) - Red, Black

Size: Large
Colors: Regal Red (Patons Devine)
Pattern: Flattering Jacket free pattern (Number 668) published by Lion Brand
Hook: K
Date: April 2006

patonsdevineregalred.jpg I substituted Patons Devine for Lion Brand Homespun, used a K hook, and followed the directions for a Large size (taking into consideration that I needed a Large-XLarge and my gauge is loose). The sweater is a little big on me. Now if I was taller (I'm almost 5 feet 3 inches) and thinner (I'm not telling), it would look much better on me - more like the model in the photo on the pattern web page. Regal Red is a blue-ish red with bits of black - not bright orangy-red.
