bernatafghanscontemporary.jpg Are you looking for embroidery design charts for afghans in Bernat Afghans Contemporary and Traditional Styles book number 132? I do not know Marion but she has worked with two people who left comments on my blog seeking the Spring Bouquet and other charts in Bernat Afghans number 132. I will put you and Marion in email contact with each other to work out the details.

Nevermind...finally figured out what See Latest Update means...duh.

Hello,

I would be very grateful for the Spring Bouquet embroidery charts. My grandmother has been looking for it for years.

Thanks very much.

Joline

Hi, Joline - Check the update on this post on my blog for info about Marion who says she has charts for the Bernat Afghan Book #132 for sale.

Hello...I had that book and I think Spring Bouquet is the one also in book #64 Style No 3191-64 but in different colors. There are 3 flowered panels...2 with panzeys and the center one has lillies and roses. Is it possibly the same? If so I would like to purchase the chart. Please respond. Thank you

Hi, Charleda - I don't know if they're the same or not. You could try ebay.com or searching Google.
-Cheryl

My Great Grandmother had started the Sunflower Afghan by Bernat that is pictured above. I am desperately searching for the pattern to finish it, and to do the sunflower stitching on top. ANY ideas on where/how to find it? Bernat apparently no longer has it available.

THANKS!

I am looking for the embroidery chart for Toltec Bird. I have the book but no chart.

Do you have the Danish Bell Pull kit? I would like very much to make this afghan for my daughter, and would like to have the entire kit, but if it is not available, I would be happy to purchase the pattern. Please let me know what you have in stock. I have already made the other two afghans from kits, and they turned out very well.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Jill Kamin

Hi, Jill - I do not have the charts. You can contact Marion Vanstone at mvanstone@rogers.com to see if she still has them available for sale.

Hi Cheryl:

I have been looking for the Toltec Bird Pattern for about 7 years. I'm so very happy to have found it. I made this afghan when I was 18 years old for my parents. That was 42 years ago. My Dad still has it. I would like to make one for my daughter. Tonight I'm a very grateful person. Thank you so very much for Marion's information.

Sandy

Oh my goodness! I purchased this book at a thrift store and I have been yearning for the embroidery patterns. Thank you so much for the information, I will def be getting in touch with Marion.

I have these charts. (I'll be making them all when I retire....someday.)

I am seeking chart 3057 for the Victoria afghan in Bernat's A bouquet of Bernat #160 shown on page 33. If anyone has it, can they let me know?

Oops. Got a little mixed up above. Had one book open inside another open book and got the title wrong. The Bernat afghan Victoria #3057 is in Bernat Afghans Handicrafter #29, not in the Bouquet book. Pg. 33. My bad.

I've e-mailed Marion but if anyone happens to have that chart, please let me know. Maybe I can work a trade for one of the charts above?

I recently purchased Bernat Afghans, contemporary & traditional styles, Book No. 132 from Amazon.
If any one has any ideas where I can get the cross stitch patterns for those afghans, Please let me know, I like to make toltec bird & springs bouquet along with other ones, if I can get my hands on the pattern, I will appreciate very much for the information. Thanks. RP

Hi; I am,also, looking for the four patterns listed from Bernat Afghans Book No. 132. If any one has these patterns I would appreciate having them. I do voulenteer teaching and a couple of ladies are looking for these patterns. Thanks in advance. Helen

Hi; I am looking for the four patterns in Bernat book 132. Thanks for your help. Helen

Hello,
I am looking for a Bernat pattern for a knitted afghan called the Laplander. I purchased it as a kit in the late 60's early 70's, but have lost the pattern. It is basically a white background with color borders at each end. I want to make this for my son with his college colors. Hope someone can help me find it. Thank you, Pam

I am looking for the Bernat Afghans Embroidery charts - all four - for Book number 132 published in 1966. They are:

Toltec Bird #10000
Spring Bouquet #10001
Danish Bell Pull #10002
Sunflower #10003

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you, Elaine

Could you please tell me what you charge for your spring bouquet embroidery chart/graph and how long would it take for me to get it?? Please let me know, thanks so much....
Ronnie

I am doing the Toltec Bird pattern and have completed the white panels and they are ready to be cross stitched. However, I do not like the black panels and am going to do something else in lieu of. What you will find that the tapestry threads for the pattern are discontinued as the company changed hands. I went to Denise Davis of Threadneedle Street custsrvice@threadneedlestreet.com amd ordered a the "Anchor Tapisserie Wool threads chart". The reason for this was I had to completely change the colors as the old numbers on the pattern no longer exist. With the book, I was able to use the old colors as a guide for finding matches for the Anchor threads. I am sure that you can find the chart elsewhere, but a chart with the actual colors will be absolutely necessary. Then I had to list both the old and new colors side by side with the nanes in order to do the chart. Thank you. Beverly Horner

Does anyone know where I can find a list of bernats tapestry wool from the 1940. I'd like to
do one of the old afghans, I have the chart and they have the numbers listed for the wool, but I
have no idea what the colors looked like. I'd appreciate some help. Thanks!

Please contact me I would like the charts for all except Toltec Bird as I have that one
Thanks Donna

Hello,
I am searching for the Bernat Afghans Embroidery charts for the Toltec Bird (Book number 132). Would anybody have any idea where I could purchase this? Any help would be greatly appreciated as it is for my great aunt.
Thanks,
Kim Magnusson

On April 2, 2009 Pam was looking for directions for the Laplander afghan. I've inherited one 2/3 done as well as a page of directions with three large pieces torn out, including the basic stitch and would love to finish it. Does anyone have this?

The chart for Bernat's 3008-132 "Danish Bell Pull" appears in the book The Illustrated Afghan, by Lesley Linsley, published by Sedgewood Press, c 1990.

This is for Pam regarding the pattern for the "The Laplander". I have that pattern. Same as you, I acquired the afghan 16 years ago. It was almost finished by my NOW husbands mother. She died before she could finish it. My husbands sisters didn't want it and they didn't know how to knit, so they gave it to me with the instructions and all the yarn to finish it. It took me till now to finish it (I was afraid to touch it). It is very pretty, it looks so much like early american.
This is the first time I have done anything like this, so I'm not sure how this works. If Pam still needs this pattern, I would like to hear from her. I love to knit, just wish I could just knit instead of going to work every day.
Although I have the whole pattern it didn't come with a picture of it. So I wonder about the finishing touches, like the edging & fringe!

This is for Beverly Horner. How did you change the black panels on the Toltec Bird Afghan. I have tried the panels and it is confusing and I don't like the way they look. Have looked through several of my books and can't find anything that would work. Thanks

Hello,

I have the kit with all yarns and one completed panel, can't find the embroidery diagram. If anyone can use the kit please contact me to make an offer.

In going through my old patterns I finally come across Book 132 of the Bernat Afghans. My mother-in-law did this afghan and I was blessed with it when she passed away. I do not have the embrodiery instructions or chart for this Toltec Bird.or any of the other afghans in the book. Are they still available? Her daughter would now like to make the afghan. I would appreciate any comments. Many thanks.

Please reply to: katiek@mts.net

I need article No. P123 for Bernat Spring Bouquet afghan, as well as the embroidery instructions. I made this in 1980 for my sister, and when she died I wanted it back, but it was nowhere to be found. It takes about 8-9 months to make and time is running out!! Hope someone can help me, and I will pay a fair price for them. Thank you!

I would like to know if anyone has the charts for the Toltec Bird, Danish Bell Pull and Spring Bouquet, shown in book #132?

Please reply to: CapnOz2@sbcglobal.net

Hi Cheryl

I received an email from Katherine Keselowsky (aka Katie) inquiring about the charts I have from Bernat Book #132. I replied to her email but it was returned to me as undeliverable. If you have a valid email for her, would you contact her for me and have her get in touch again. Thanks for your help.
