Enjoys crocheting, gardening, cats, NASCAR (especially Tony Stewart and Kyle Busch!), reading, photography, snorkeling in Kailua-Kona with sea turtles, Sizzler's Mega Bacon Cheeseburgers, hot and iced decaf coffee, dark chocolate, color (yarn, fabric), playing around with web technologies - not necessarily in that order! Still very much a beginner with quilting, knitting, and sewing. Donates crocheted lap blankets.

I noticed you had made a sweater from a back issue of CROCHET! magazine the March 2006 issue ........I am trying to purchase or get a copy of a pattern in that magazine that was a "Hideaway Teddy Bear & Afghan" pattern........I also make teddy bears, rabbits, and monkies for charity for children's hospitals. Any help or suggestions your might have would be greatly appreciated. I am very intrigued with the way the paws were made in this pattern. thanks again.

Hi, bj - I have the March 2006 issue of Crochet! magazine listed on my For Sale page:
http://www.tamemymind.com/blog/pages/forsale1.php
The bear is very cute! If you're interested in buying the magazine for $6.00 including shipping (via PayPal), let me know.
Hello. Nice to meet you. I always think that Stewart needs a shave, but his hair is just awful. Even the Nascar commercial for Direct TV hot pass he looks like a bum. I personally am a Gordon/Johnson fan, so I mostly buy their things. I did however just find an autographed collage at Target from Tony Stewart. You may want to check the Target stores in your area. It was originally $120, but was clearanced to $24.75.
Thanks for letting me know, Yvette! When I go to Target next time, I'll look for it. Just a little while and 2008 NASCAR starts! Whoop!
Do you still have the March 2006 Crochet magazine. I, too, am interested in the Hideaway Bear pattern.
